CASHnip Kitty: How a Homeless Cat Turned into a Charitable Hero

Cats are not just small furry animals with soft tummies and cute faces; they are good hunters who will help exterminate rodents or domestic pests. A company suffering from vermin and rats decided to adopt a cat that would come and deploy its hunting skills in the firm. The funny thing is that this story ended up creating a charity. We know it is mind-blowing, but we will tell the whole story.

The owner of a marketing agency in Tusla, Oklahoma, adopted this lovely kitty from Tusla Animal Welfare Shelter in 2015. Having a cat around was the best solution for keeping mice and pests away and solving this urgent problem. 

The little furry guy immediately joined the firm and started his duties. Furthermore, when finishing, the kitty would sit by the window and watch what was happening outside. Everything sounded great until, one day, they found money near the front door. The source of the money was unknown to them. The incident repeated daily, and the team became eager to know about this mystery.

Because the company’s office is located near a crowded street known for its late partiers wandering up and down, there is a possibility that these partygoers lost their money through the door slot while playing with the cat.

The team tried this theory by sliding a dollar bill through the slot, and the cat did not hesitate to jump and snatch the cash. So, their approach was accurate. Later, they nicknamed the fluffy kitty “CASHnip Kitty” for his unique talent and skills.  

The cat became a sensation in the area. People would gather in front of the office to play with him. As a result, more money appeared, and the team started thinking about donating all this money.

They finally donated the money to a local charity called Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless. The kitty was homeless once, and now it helps and supports others to live a better life with its remarkable talent.
 
This little cash snatcher has become famous on social media and started receiving lots of cash and supporting notes from his followers. The sweet cat story has inspired us to believe that even animals can significantly impact our lives.
